Description-
A small 4-9 mm fly, with narrow body. Usually metallic hues of
green, blue, copper, gold, and silver. They have very long slender legs.
Host Pests-
Adults and larvae are predaceous on small insects.
Biology-
Mouth parts are piercing and sucking. Found frequently in the
landscape.
